EC Strategic Advisors ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the personal data of individuals who visit our website and interact with us. We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share your personal data with the following third parties, solely to the extent necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

a) Service providers and technology platforms.

Google LLC, for business communications (Google Workspace) and potentially for website analytics. Google may process your data on servers outside Singapore. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), for email marketing and newsletter delivery. Mailchimp may process your data on servers outside Singapore. Mailchimp's privacy policy is available at intuit.com/privacy/statement.

These third parties are contractually required to handle your personal data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

b) Legal and regulatory authorities. We may disclose your personal data to regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, or other government authorities where required to do so by applicable law, court order, or other legal process.

We will not disclose your personal data to any other third parties without your consent, except as permitted under the PDPA.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Where we transfer personal data outside Singapore, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient provides a standard of protection for your personal data that is at least comparable to the protection afforded under the PDPA, in accordance with Section 26 of the PDPA.

8. Retention of personal data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law.

Enquiry and contact data: retained for up to 3 years from the date of last contact, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
Newsletter subscriber data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Website analytics and cookie data: retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in Section 6, and in accordance with the data retention settings of any third-party analytics tools in use.

When personal data is no longer needed, we will destroy or anonymize it in a secure manner.

9. Protection of personal data

We implement reasonable and appropriate organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures include secure access controls, encrypted communications (HTTPS), and restricting access to personal data to authorized personnel who need it for their work.

While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We encourage you to take care when sharing personal data online.

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete
Withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data
Request that we cease to send you marketing or promotional materials

We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for access requests in accordance with the PDPA.
